Certification Manager Details
Here are some further details about certification manager. Certification Manager has a tab for each area of assessment. Each tab is list of items grouped by product. Or you can go via the product tab and see everything for just one product as separate tabs at the bottom of each product details page.

The various tables and forms have the option to export to an excel spreadsheet, csv file, word or xml document providing portability. This allows you to keep the completed records in your other systems or provide them to outside parties such as test laboratories.
Each step of the process has useful guidance and notes to help you piece together the required information. This example shows the hazard analysis guide notes.
The image below shows some of the list of hazard types that should be reviewed as part of the product risk process. The list is derived from the essential safety requirements of the directives and provides an extensive range of areas for appraisal and action.
These categories can be added to and edited to form a more specific list if needed.
Risk Scores
The image to the right shows the various tabs for a product. In this case it is showing the Risks tab and the list of hazards that have been identified.
Safety Notices
Once the hazard analysis is complete and the mitigations are understood it is possible to formulate the required safety labelling and notices for the documentation.
This is done by product and can be related to the various mitigations.
Once complete the order of the notices can be arranged and a table of these exported to a Microsoft Word document format for inclusion in the manual and other documentation.
Components Critical to Safety
Here you can record all of the parts of the product that are critical to maintaining safety so that these can be tracked through the life of the product. The image shows a pressure tank as a critical item. Its key safety attributes are recorded for this particular application of the part. The manufacturer and part number are recorded along with specifications and certifications for the part. The notes field allows a time based dialogue to be kept on the part detailing any changes or substitutions.
Documentation
It is possible to attach verification and other documents to items in the hazard analysis that relate to each entry. You can also store other documents associated with the product in the documents tab, these can be linked in to any text field in the system for reference.
